Anaheim Ducks vs Edmonton Oilers
Today’s Western Conference match up between the Ducks and the Oilers is a big one as far as the Wild Card picture is concerned. A win for Anaheim could see them move one step closer to the first seed, while the Oilers are still on the outside looking in. The Ducks have won two of their last three against Edmonton, and with home-ice advantage today, this should be a perfect opportunity for Anaheim to bounce-back to winning ways.
Melbourne Renegades v Hobart Hurricanes
The undefeated Hurricanes are sharing the odds ahead of tonight’s away clash against the Renegades. Melbourne lost to the Strikers by 32-runs last Thursday night, but they’ve now enjoyed a nice three day break in preparation for this one. Also in the Gades’ favour is their strong form against Hobart – they’ve only lost to the Hurricanes twice in seven meetings. Despite the even market, Melbourne are 4-1 against Hobart as the underdog, so keep an eye on the odds closer to the first ball.
Cairns Taipans v Sydney Kings
The Kings put up a bit of a stinker on Saturday afternoon losing by seven-points to the Hawks, leaving them in a must-win position tonight if they wish to stay atop the ladder. It was also a big weekend for Cairns, earning just their second win of the season in a blowout over the Bullets. The Kings are a perfect 4-0 against the Kings over the last 12-months, but the Taipans are every chance at keeping this one close.
