Eagle Farm Race 8 (1300m) - Sat 25th May 2019

Eagle Farm - QLD:

Fine
Track: Good (3)
Eagle Farm Race 8
TAB KINGSFORD-SMITH CUP
Distance: 1300m
Race Time: 3:35 PM
Race Status: (Final) Closed
Race Comments:
I AM EXCITED Ran down Redzel in the Victory Stakes at Eagle Farm last start. Four weeks between runs but has won a Warwick Farm trial in the interim. Rates a winning hope again.
OUTBACK BARBIE Finished her race off nicely when fifth in the Doomben 10,000 last start. Wide draw a concern but with even luck can be in the finish with the run under her belt.
TREKKING Is putting it all together this preparation winning the Hall Mark and Luskin Star Stakes at last couple. Has to be a key player launching from the inside gate.
HOME OF THE BRAVE Hasn't raced for five weeks since finishing just over a length from the winner in the Hall Mark at Randwick last start. Has trialled in the interim and can place from an on pace position.

Raced on the speed before being run down late when a close third in the Doomben 10,000 last start. Likely to adopt similar tactics here and will take plenty of running down.

Runner Comments:
Led all the way to win the Hawkesbury Crown last start. A Group I at WFA is a signicant test but won't spend a penny in the run launching from the inside gate and can place.

Won the Sapphire Stakes at Randwick two back before finishing just over three-lengths from the winner in the Doomben 10,000 last start. Would need to find something.

Runner Comments:
Finished her race off nicely when fifth in the Doomben 10,000 last start. Wide draw a concern but with even luck can be in the finish with the run under her belt.

Returned to the winner's list in the Champagne Classic. A two-year-old taking on the older horses but 48kg at the same time. Expecting a huge run.
